More than
just a tattoo.
Since 2017, we have built a studio where artistry, safety, and personal storytelling come together — one permanent masterpiece at a time.
Where every line tells a story.
Tattoo Things Studio was born in 2017 in the heart of Johor Bahru with a single belief: that a tattoo is not just ink on skin — it is a permanent declaration of identity, memory, and art. Founded by a passionate team of artists committed to craft over commerce, the studio quickly became one of JB's most sought-after destinations for custom tattoo work.
Our specialities span the full spectrum of tattoo artistry — from the bold contrasts of Black & Grey Realism and the timeless elegance of Japanese Traditional, to the intricate precision of Neo Japanese, Fine Line, and Geometric / Mandala designs. Every piece is custom-drawn from scratch, crafted around the client's vision and body.
We operate from a clean, professional studio at Taman Adda Heights, Johor Bahru — a space designed to feel both welcoming and inspiring. Every needle, ink, and surface meets strict hygiene standards, because we believe you should never have to choose between safety and exceptional art.
Beyond our studio walls, we have taken our work to international and regional tattoo conventions — competing alongside the finest artists in Southeast Asia and returning home with recognition that affirms what our clients have always known: Tattoo Things is built on mastery.
What makes Tattoo Things Studio distinct is not only the artistry — it is the approach. We serve a multilingual community across Johor Bahru and beyond, operating fluently in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia. Many of our clients travel from Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and across Johor to work with specific artists. Walk-ins are always welcome for enquiries, and every consultation — whether for a palm-sized piece or a full back project — begins with a genuine conversation about what the tattoo means to the person wearing it.
